Incorporated on December 1, 1989 Laguna Niguel became the 29th
city in Orange County. Located halfway between Los Angeles and San
Diego (60 Miles each direction) and halfway between Newport Beach
and San Clemente, Laguna Niguel has become the heartland of Orange
County's Gold coast. As one of the county's finest communities,
Laguna Niguel spans 9,421 acres (13.8 square miles). Surrounded
